For our next DigitalSports Internship Mission, we are asking student journalists to give us five (5) reasons why sports are important for high schools and high school students/athletes.
Journalists:
Some things to consider when writing your article:
- What is the school spirit factor?
- How involved are your communities and community members?
- What kind of support do students and athletes get from parents?
- What would it be like if your school didn't have any sports teams?
- Get quotes from parents, athletes, coaches or teachers about why they think sports are important.
