Many of us have witnessed perfect games at the major league level. Some of us have witnessed them at the college and high school levels. In all of these perfect games, the pitcher is clearly the most dominant player on the field - sometimes never allowing a full count and striking out a handful in the process. But what
High Point High School (N.J.) softball pitcher Ally Frei did against
Vernon High School was nothing short of amazing. In fact, it was just that - amazing.
Frei managed to retire every single batter in order. But the most amazing part is that she
struck out every batter - all 21 of them.
Frei is no stranger to perfect games, believe it or not. She had pitched three in her sophomore year. We're pretty sure that if her opponents don't know who she is, they certainly will now.
Fantastic job, Ally!
