Carlo Garcia probably could not have envisioned a better way to end his high school football career for the Manti (Utah) High Templars.
In the biggest game of the season, Garcia nailed a 54-yard field goal to solidify Manti High's second straight state title. According to Desertnews.com, Garcia was full of emotion.
“This is the best feeling in the world,” said Garcia. “It means a lot — not only to me, but to my school and my team — we’re like a family.”It was also a special moment for Garcia because no high school player in the state's history had ever hit a 54-yard field goal before.
