Have you ever seen a punt turned in to a returned punt touchdown? If not, you are in for a surprise. The Winnipeg (Manitoba) Kelvin High School football team prepared to receive a punt from their opponent. Everyone anxiously awaited a return run - until the punt returner decided to catch the ball and punt it back toward the opposition, thus making it a free ball. Kelvin High pounced on the ball downfield and brought it in for the touchdown. In United States football, this kind of play is illegal. But in Canadian football, once the punt travels more than 10 yards downfield, the kicking team can regain possession at any time. Check out the video below:
