It's not every day you find an 11-year-old boy as the star center for a high school varsity basketball team. Standing at 4' 5" Julian Newman is the newest internet sensation. Even more amazing is that he is four years younger than his Downey Christian High School (Florida) teammates. He's been on major media outlets across the country already, including the syndicated 'Inside Edition,' ABC News, and the New York Times in which he's been labeled as a "prodigy." According to OpposingViews.com, not only does Newman go up against athletes twice his size, but he averages 12.4 points, 11 assists, and 4.3 steals in the process - a superstar in the making.
