Video: Touching moment in high school basketball game

On the last game of the regular season, Coronado High School (Texas) basketball coach, Peter Morales, decided to suit up his team manager, Mitchell Marcus. Marcus wasn't like the rest of teammates, however. He has a developmental disability.

In the waning moments of the game in which the Coronado Thunderbirds were only winning by 10 points, Morales made the call to put in Marcus, who had always dreamed of playing in a game. Morales wanted him to score. Despite his teammates giving him the ball on every possession, Marcus just couldn't convert a basket. Morales was just happy Marcus was in the game. But in steps Jonathon Montanez, Franklin High School senior and a member of the opposing team. Instead of inbounding the ball to his own teammate, Montanez called Marcus over, gave him the ball, and fittingly, Marcus converted. At that point, the entire arena erupted in to a deafening roar. A truly amazing moment for Marcus. Original story here.
